20.5 thousand used passenger cars imported from abroad were submitted for first registration in April 2025. This figure is 2% higher compared to the results of March of this year, and 6% higher compared to the same period in 2024.
In the diagram, import volumes are marked by blue sections of the bars. Since the beginning of the year, import volumes have been gradually increasing: 14.5 thousand cars arrived in January, 17.7 thousand in February, 20 thousand in March, and we currently have this volume fixed.

What was applied for first registration more often? A solid victory in this ranking goes to Volkswagen, with a solid share of 20.7%. Audi and Nissan also entered the top three most popular imported brands. Renault took fourth place, and Tesla, which was in eighth place last year, rose to fifth. Which, after all, we predicted not so long ago.
Here are the Top 10 manufacturers whose "freshly driven" cars were in the greatest demand:
Among individual models, the Volkswagen Golf is in first place, helped by the electric version of the e-Golf. The Skoda Octavia is in second place, the Volkswagen Tiguan is in third place, which is seriously competing with the Audi Q5 . It is also noticeable how many electric cars are imported — the Nissan Leaf is in fifth place, the Tesla Model Y is in sixth place, and the Tesla Model 3 is in eighth place. The closer the planned cancellation of customs clearance benefits is, the more actively they are being bought, even though the prices for electric cars have already increased somewhat.
The average age of passenger cars that entered the Ukrainian fleet during April 2025 was 9.5 years, the same as a month earlier.
As for premium models, in April, the Ukrainian car fleet was replenished with the following cars of this category: 1 McLaren, two each of Rolls-Royce, BMW Alpina, Bentley and Lamborghini, and 11 Maserati.
