Top 15 all-wheel drive cars with mileage on the Ukrainian mass market
Analysts of the Institute of Car Market Research processed data provided by the aggregator Automoto.ua, which collects information from all sites containing advertisements for the sale of vehicles, and identified 15 models of all-wheel drive cars that are most frequently listed in offers for sale. Only newly created advertisements (at least 1,000) created in January 2025, without duplicates, were taken into account.
According to recent research, the most popular four-wheel drive models on the Ukrainian used car market are BMW, Audi, Volkswagen and other well-known brands. Below, we will look at the 15 models that were most frequently found in online ads, and highlight the most expensive and cheapest options, as well as the newest and oldest cars by average age that are most often found on the Ukrainian mass car market.

The most expensive models:
- Audi Q7 (2014) — $19,000
- Mazda CX-5 (2018) — $16,300
- Audi Q5 (2016) — $16,000
These cars have a more modern model range and are likely to be in better technical condition. The Audi Q7 stands out as the premium crossover with the highest average price among popular ads.
The cheapest models:
- Kia Sorento (2009) — $7,450
- Hyundai Tucson (2011) — $8,200
- Hyundai Santa FE (2010) — $10,300
These models are in a lower price segment, making them more accessible to buyers looking for a budget-friendly four-wheel drive vehicle. They usually have higher mileage and simpler specifications.
Latest models:
- Mazda CX-5 (2018)
- Nissan Rogue (2017)
- Volkswagen Tiguan (2016)/Audi Q5 (2016)
The average age of these cars indicates that they are still quite modern in terms of technical equipment, safety, and design.
Oldest models:
- Kia Sorento (2009)
- Hyundai Santa Fe (2010)
- BMW X5 (2011)/Audi A6 (2011)/Volkswagen Touareg (2011)/Mitsubishi Outlander (2011)/Hyundai Tucson (2011)
These cars may have higher mileage and, accordingly, less residual life, which may later require additional investment in repairs, but their popularity indicates that there is considerable demand for budget all-wheel drive cars.
Conclusions
The demand for all-wheel drive cars in the secondary market of Ukraine remains high. BMW X5, Audi A6 and Audi Q5 lead the rating in terms of the number of offers, which confirms the interest in premium models even in the age segment. At the same time, budget Korean crossovers, such as Kia Sorento and Hyundai Tucson, remain in significant demand. Buyers looking for a balance between price and year of manufacture should take a closer look at the Volkswagen Tiguan 2016 or Nissan Rogue 2017.
