Bill No. 12267 , part of which we recently described , was approved immediately by a total of 335 votes of parliamentarians, Peopleʼs Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported on December 17 in his Telegram channel .
There is no final version of the text of the future law yet, but there is no mention that any changes have occurred in the part regarding the schedule for introducing Euro eco-standards compared to the initial version.
So, if the text of the law, which will be published in the official publication, remains unchanged, the updated schedule for the introduction of Euro eco-standards will look like this:
- From January 1, 2025:
New passenger cars — " Euro-6 "
Used cars — "Euro-2"
New and used trucks, buses, special equipment, tractor units — "Euro-5"
- From January 1, 2027:
New passenger cars — "Euro-6"
Used cars — "Euro-2"
New and used trucks, buses, special equipment, tractor units — "Euro-6"
Such a decision during martial law should make such vehicles as new and used trucks, buses, special equipment, and tractors somewhat more accessible (or rather, leave them at the current level of accessibility), because otherwise, due to the introduction of Euro-6, the minimum price level for them would become higher due to the reduction in the passing age.
