Underlining the September numbers on the "electric cars" page ended with the following conclusions: the total volume of the segment is 6.5 thousand, which is 31.1% less than in the previous month, but 6.3% more than last year in September 2023.
After the peak indicators in August (the reason for which is explained more than once, for example, in this article ), electric car auctions reached the usual average statistical level, with a small overall increase compared to last yearʼs results.
The structure of the segment according to the results of September is as follows: the basis is made up of imported electric vehicles with mileage, their share is 48.9%, or 3179 units.
The second sub-segment in terms of volume is domestic resale of passenger cars of the BEV group, the share is 38.2%, the number is 2,484 units.
New electric cars occupy only 12.9% of their group, and in quantitative terms it is 838 units.
How have the indicators for these sub-segments changed? (MM-M — month compared to the previous month, YY — compared to the same month of the previous year):
- Domestic resales: -9% MM, +36% YY
- Used imports: -42% MM, -10% YY
- New imports: -31% MM, +9% YY
Given that the month-to-month comparison is not very informative (due to the fact that August was "turbulent" due to a strong information field, in which the possibility of the introduction of a 15% tax on the first registration of cars was hotly debated), perhaps it would be better to compare September, say, with July, but this would contradict the usual principles of presenting statistical slices. After all, even without calculations, everything is visible on the interactive chart — September returned to the often mentioned "statistical plateau".
