Experts of the Institute of Car Market Research analyzed the statistics of car registrations and identified the top 20 most popular used models that were bought in Ukraine in July.
The most popular brands in the domestic market
The leader of passenger car brands that were bought on the domestic market in July Volkswagen remains the biggest. Ukrainians concluded 10,300 purchase and sale agreements for cars of this brand, which is 12.4% of the total number.
VAZ (Lada) rose from third to second place with a share of 6.2% ( 4.7 thousand transactions).
Renault fell to third place (5.7%, 4.7 thousand ). Fourth place with a share of 5.4% ( 4.5 thousand ) was taken by Skoda. Toyota closes the top five with a share of 5.2% and 4.3 thousand transactions.
The most popular models in the domestic market
The first place among domestic sales in July was taken by the unchanging leader of the Ukrainian car market Volkswagen Passat (3 thousand deals). In second place is Skoda Octavia (2.5 thousand transactions).
The third step was occupied by Volkswagen Golf (2.3 thousand transactions), and the fourth place was ZAZ/Daewoo Lanos (2 thousand transactions).
Rounding out the top five is Renault Megane (1.4 thousand deals).
In general, the top 20 used cars on the domestic market in July look like this:

- BMW 3 Series — 1118 pcs.
- Skoda Fabia — 1097 pcs.
- Opel Astra — 1096 pcs.
- Toyota Camry — 1052 pcs.
- Audi A6 — 1047 pcs.
- Chevrolet Aveo — 035 pcs.
- Mercedes-Benz E-Class — 970 pcs.
- VAZ 2109x — 901 pcs.
- Audi A4 — 899
- BMW X5 — 789 pcs.
- Renault Scenic — 759 pcs.
