During October 2025, Ukrainians and local enterprises purchased 7.3 thousand new passenger cars. In annual comparison with October 2024, we have an increase in volumes of 34.3%, and when comparing this yearʼs October to September, we get a plus of 11.3%.
The majority of new passenger cars, as usual (98.1%, 7,183 units), were imported from abroad. The share of passenger cars manufactured in Ukraine was 1.9% (138 units).
Among the brands, the largest number of passenger cars with BYD, Toyota, and Volkswagen emblems were submitted for first registration. Here are the Top 10 manufacturers according to the results of October of this year:
The first place among individual brands this time belongs to a crossover with a German logo, but Chinese roots — Volkswagen ID. Unyx. The second position belongs to another product from China — BYD Song Plus, which moved the "old-timer" of the market, Toyota RAV4, down one place, which is now in third position .
Among new cars registered as manufactured in Ukraine (quantitatively included in the overall ranking), the leader last month was the Skoda Karoq crossover (83 units), which is produced at the Transcarpathian Eurocar plant. Other places were taken by VD, SKS and similar cars converted by local enterprises, mostly in quantities of less than 10 units.
