Experts from the Auto Market Research Institute analyzed vehicle registration statistics in Ukraine in June 2025 and identified the most popular models in three segments of tractor units: imported used, domestic resale, and new.
Tractor unit market dynamics
During June 2025, Ukrainians purchased a total of 1,025 new and used tractor units. This figure is 47.4% lower compared to the results of the same period in 2024, and 8.2% lower compared to May of this year.
The structure of this segment is as follows: the share of domestic resales was 56.4% (578 units), imports of used tractor units — 35.5% (364 units).The total share of "trucks" with mileage was 91.9%.
8.1% of tractor units were purchased new, which in quantitative terms is equal to 83 units of such equipment.
By individual subsegments, the comparative dynamics of the tractor unit market looks like this:
- Domestic resales: −12.6% MM, −54.1% YY
- Used imports: −3.4% MM, −32.0% YY
- New imports: +5.1% MM, −45.4% YY
The most popular tractors on the domestic market
The most popular tractor unit on the domestic market in Ukraine is the DAF XF. 194 sales contracts for this model were concluded.
Second place in quantity is taken by Volvo FH, 62 units, third by MAN TGX, 61 units.
The most popular used tractor units imported from abroad
In June 2025, the first place among the “customized” tractors was taken by the MAN TGX, which replenished our fleet in the amount of 99 units. In second place was the DAF XF, whose total number of first registrations was 74. In third place was the Scania R-series with a result of 42 trucks.

The most popular new tractor units
Among the new models of tractor units, Ukrainian carriers most often purchased Volvo FH —This tractor was sold in quantities of 20 units.
Second place in this category was shared by Mercedes-Benz Actros and MAN TGX with a total of 15 new vehicles each. Third place went to DAF XF with a total of 9 tractor units.
