About 6 thousand such cars have been registered in Ukraine since the beginning of 2025. This is not many — only 1.5% of the secondary market, but what names! Toyota Land Cruiser, Mercedes-Benz S-Class, Range Rover, Lexus LX — models that once seemed like an unattainable dream are now sold at a completely reasonable price.
These “gasoline scavengers” are not a mass-market product, so demand for them is limited. And that is why for many this is a chance to fulfill a long-held dream and find themselves behind the wheel of a real V8 or even a V12.

Most of them are gasoline (52%), every third one is already with LPG (29.5%), diesels are fewer (17.2%), and hybrids are rare (1.2%). The average age of these cars is 14.5 years : these are not new cars, but it is at this age that many of them best combine solidity and reasonable cost.
