The motor vehicle trade business should soon receive some simplifications. They are included in draft law No. 9083, which was approved in its entirety on December 17, as reported by Peopleʼs Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak.
Previously, specialists from the Institute for Car Market Research had already studied this document, albeit in the version before the first reading, where the explanatory note used a lot of information from the IDA in terms of research on the current state of our car market. According to the information from the same note, the document is designed to simplify the trade in used vehicles, namely to cancel the need to register vehicles taken for sale by business entities that are officially engaged in transport trade. The project also contains the idea of exempting such businesses from the obligation to register such cars in the CCC and SP, and some other proposals.
Since during martial law, the Verkhovna Rada sessions are not broadcast (which makes it impossible to track all voted amendments and amendments "by voice"), and the final text of the approved draft is not yet available on the official website of the Verkhovna Rada, we should wait for its publication to study it in detail.
When this happens, experts from the Institute for Car Market Research will publish a detailed overview of all the changes and conclusions on what significance they will have for the car market in practice.
