Drawing a line under the numbers of November for the segment of electric vehicles ended with the following conclusions: the total volume of the segment was 5.6 thousand, which is 17.2% less than in the previous reporting month, and also 10.3% less than last year in November 2023.
After the peak indicators in August (the reason for which is explained more than once, for example, in this article ), electric car auctions first predictably reached the usual average statistical level, which then changed to a noticeable decrease in volumes in the segment.
The structure of the segment according to the results of November is as follows: the basis is made up of imported electric cars with mileage, the share of such cars is 54.9%, or 3,064 units.
The second sub-segment in terms of volume is internal resales of passenger cars of the BEV group, the share is 33%, the number is 1,840 units.
New electric cars occupy 12.1% of their group, and in quantitative terms it is 678 units.
How have the indicators for these sub-segments changed? (MM-M — month compared to the previous month, YY — compared to the same month of the previous year):
- Domestic resales: -25.4% MM, +7.5% YY
- Used imports: -7.0% MM, -16.5% YY
- New imports: −31.0% MM, −19.5% YY
Negative values are almost everywhere — the electric car market lost momentum, and this was actually before such negative phenomena as forced power cuts due to missile and drone attacks by terrorists on the Ukrainian power system began. Conditional growth is visible only year-over-year for the domestic market, which is gradually filling up, which explains the increase in volumes in this part. A probable increase in volumes here is possible closer to the middle to the end of 2025, since from the beginning of 2026 the benefits for the customs clearance of electric cars are canceled.

General park of electric transport
As of the beginning of November 2024, in Ukraine (not including industrial electric cars, trolleybuses, and railcars) there are 135.3 thousand units It has the largest number of passenger cars — 131,400. There are almost 3,000 electric traction trucks, there are also several electric buses (5 pcs.), and almost 9 hundred motor vehicles.
