On Friday, October 29, Lutsk hosted a conference "Import and sale of used cars: how to grow, not survive." More than 100 representatives of the automotive business were gathered on the territory of WEST AUTO HUB. The conference participants had the opportunity to hear about the dynamics and prospects of the automotive market, get applied information for their own business and share experiences.
The event was organized by the Institute of Car Market Research and WEST AUTO HUB. The conference consisted of three parts, which included nine presentations from eight experts. Each of the parts complemented each other to provide guests with a maximum of both theoretical and practical information for the automotive business. The opportunity to ask questions added even more value to the speakers.
The first was a story about the dynamics of the Ukrainian car market over the past seven years from the head of the Institute of Car Research Stanislav Buchatsky. He clearly demonstrated how it has influenced the import and sale of cars since 2013, and what a unique opportunity has opened up today for representatives of the Ukrainian automotive business.
WEST AUTO HUB Chief Operating Officer Victoria Shlyakhtych spoke about how the pandemic has affected the business of importing and selling used cars. From her own experience, she outlined the changes that have taken place in the market since the spring of 2020.
CEO of the Czech car platform CarVago Jan Kranat spoke about what awaits the European car market in the near future, and also announced the launch of the company in Ukraine. According to him, we are waiting for the transition to buying tested cars online with delivery "under the door".
Oleksandr Onyschuk, Executive Director of the Car Research Institute, explained to the audience why Ukraine is not ready to ban the import and sale of internal combustion engines from 2027, and argued with specific statistics.

Stanislav Buchatsky, the head of the Car Research Institute, spoke about the value of automotive statistics based on BigData. He clearly demonstrated how you can make decisions based on analytics, as well as what benefits it can give the automotive business.
