Experts of the Institute of Car Market Research analyzed the statistics of car registrations and identified the top 20 most popular models that were imported from abroad in November.
During November, Ukrainians registered 15,700 used cars imported from abroad. That is, after all the events in the car market during 2022 — the start of a full-scale war, the introduction and later cancellation of the so-called "zero" customs clearance — the passenger car import segment stabilized with mileage: now its volume is about 15 thousand cars every month.
The most popular brands among imported cars with mileage
As among domestic resales, the rating of "freshly driven" used cars was led by the Volkswagen brand. 3,000 such cars were registered in November, which was 19.1% of the total number.
The second place was taken by the Renault brand, whose share increased to 9.7% (1.5 thousand) . Ford took third place ( 7.8% share), while Skoda continues to rise in the ranking and, according to the results of November, took fourth place ( 6.9% and 1.1 thousand units). Instead, Nissan dropped one step and took fifth place ( 6.4%, 1,000 units).
Most of the used cars that Ukrainians brought from abroad in November were of European brands.
The most popular models of used cars from abroad
After the cancellation of "zero" customs clearance, the Volkswagen Golf remains the leader of "freshly driven" passenger cars with mileage. In November, they were brought787 pcs.
In second place was the former long-term leader of used cars from abroad and the leader of domestic resales Volkswagen Passat (727 units). Skoda Octavia rose to third from fourth place (721 units), and Renault Megane (656 units) fell to fourth from third place. Closes the first five Renault Scenic (450 units).
The used Nissan Leaf from abroad dropped three places — from 7th to 10th place. 246 such vehicles were registered in November, and this is a good trend, considering the terrorist attacks of Russia on the energy infrastructure of Ukraine and frequent forced power outages, according to the Institute of Auto Market Research.
Audi Q5 dropped out of the top 20, and its place was taken by Mitsubishi Outlander (159 units).
