Experts of the Institute of Car Market Research analyzed vehicle registration statistics in September and identified the top hybrid models in three segments: used import, domestic resale, and new car purchases.
Dynamics of the hybrid car market
In October, Ukrainians bought 1,600 hybrid cars. This is -35.8% less than in the same period last year and -5.7% less than in September 2022.
Almost half ( 47.6%, 758 units) were purchased on the domestic market. Another 27.4% (436 units) were brought used from abroad. 25% (397 cars) were purchased new.
The most popular hybrids on the domestic market
Among the models, Ukrainians most often chose used Toyota RAV-4 hybrids (90 units). Two more models of this brand took second and third place — Prius (75 units) and Camry (57 units). T
The fourth step was taken by the Chevrolet Volt (42 units), and the fifth place by the Ford Fusion (40 units).

The most popular used hybrids brought from abroad
Ford Fusion (55 units) became the bestseller of imported used hybrids from abroad. The second place was taken by the hybrid Toyota Prius (53 units), and the third — Ford C-Max (39 units).
Fourth place was taken by Chevrolet Volt (32 units), and Toyota Camry (27 units) rounds out the top five.

Toyota RAV-4 (85 units) was the first in the rating of new hybrid passenger cars, as well as among domestic resales. Second place was taken by Mercedes-Benz GLE-Classe (55 units). Third place went to Volvo XC90 (50 units).
The fourth and fifth steps of the rating were taken by Audi: Q8 (28 units) and Q7 (25 units), respectively.
