Which brands of new electric cars had the greatest demand in May? Chinaʼs BYD holds the first position, with a significant share of 28%! Second place goes to Volkswagen, whose products covered almost a quarter of all sales — 23%, third — Honda with a share of 20%.

A new word for motorists on this list may be Denza — a joint venture between BYD and Daimler AG, which over time came under greater control of BYD, combining Chinese technology and German premium culture.
