The market of electric cars in Ukraine is still at a minimum level. The share of sales of cars with electric motors does not exceed 1.5% of the total. However, electric mobilization is the future of the global car industry. And the Ukrainian fleet of electric cars is already significantly larger than some European Union countries — for example, Poland. That is why the experts of the Institute of Car Market Research monitor this promising segment of the automotive market of Ukraine.
In total, in November 2021, Ukrainians bought 1,581 units. electric cars. Most of them (45%, 719 units) were purchased second-hand on the domestic market. Another 44% (703 units) were brought second-hand from abroad. And only 10% (159 units) of cars with electric motors Ukrainians bought new.
Only 14 cars were missing from the October 2021 record. Compared to November 2020, the total volume of the EV market increased by 73%.
The most popular used electric cars imported from abroad
There have been no major changes in the top 10 most popular used electric cars from abroad. The first place, as last month, is Nissan Leaf (166 units).
Among the notable changes — in the ranking of 9th and 10th positions appeared Volkswagen E-Bora (25 pcs.) And Tesla Model X (21 pcs.). Instead, Hyundai Kona and Audi E-Tron dropped out of the top 10.

The most popular used electric cars in the domestic market
Among electric cars on the domestic market in November, Ukrainians often chose the Nissan Leaf (270 units).
Apart from the fact that the Audi E-Tron dropped out of the rankings, Renault Kangoo ZE appeared instead, there were no cardinal changes in the top 10.

The leader in the ranking of new electric cars registered in November was the Audi E-Tron (23 units). Mercedes-Benz EQC took the second place, Volvo XC40 took the third place.
