Which brands of new electric cars were in the greatest demand last year? Volkswagen won, but here it was more likely not a knockout, as in the secondary market in general, but "on points", because the Chinese BYD was literally several cars behind it. Honda has a larger difference in the number of cars sold, but between 4th and 5th place there is also a situation that will almost certainly require extra time or a series of penalties.

There are many Chinese brands and models on the lists. What is their share in the market for new electric vehicles? Analysts from the Institute for Automotive Research have determined it, and according to the results of last year, it is 85% — another record, albeit a somewhat ambiguous one.
Prices for new BEV cars in Ukraine start at $13,900, the average median price is $37,000, and the "top of the market" reaches over $200,000.
