What cars are the most popular in the domestic market? Top 10 brands and models of October
In the domestic market during October, service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs registered 84,300 agreements for the sale of used cars. This is 2.6% more than in October 2023, and also 8.8% more than in September 2024.
Which cars are bought more often? As in previous periods, Ukrainians do not betray their "peopleʼs" brand — Volkswagen, whose share is 12.1%, which is twice as much as that of the brands placed after it on the list. VAZs of various types still do not lose their relevance, due to their low prices (which are now at the level of the price of an average smartphone), and the number that is enough for the descendants of Fiat to still cover a significant share of the "secondary" market. Then there are manufacturers more familiar to European motorists, such as Renault, BMW and Skoda.
In the list of models, the Volkswagen Passat once again takes the lead. Skoda Octavia and Volkswagen Golf are also in high demand.
Among the premium cars that sold in small numbers, but for which they are worth noting, 17 Maserati, 12 Bentley, 2 Rolls-Royce, and one each of Aston Martin, Fisker, Ferrari, Lamborghini and Maybach were bought last month.
The white convertible DKW F8 of 1939 was the car of the most respectable age.
After a slight decline in September, caused by the August news about the probable increase in car taxes, trading volumes on the "secondary" market returned to their usual values.
