If the American Tesla managed to seize market leadership among manufacturers, it will not be easy to repeat the success of the Nissan Leaf among models. At least, it will definitely take a lot of time, even taking into account the fact that Tesla approaches the Leaf with three models at once, and also the electric Volkswagen e-Golf has gained some momentum.
It is worth noting that the segment of electric cars remains the youngest on the secondary market — the average age of cars bought and sold in October is 5.8 years. This is significantly less than the general indicator for the "secondary" car, which is now 15 years.
