What cars are the most popular in the domestic market? Top 10 brands and models of September

In the domestic market during September, service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs registered 77,600 agreements for the sale of used cars. This is 14.4% less than in September 2023, and also 11% less than in August 2024.

Which cars are bought more often? As in previous periods, Ukrainians do not betray their "peopleʼs" brand — Volkswagen, whose share is 12.5%, which is twice as much as that of the brands placed after it on the list. VAZs of various types still do not lose their relevance, due to their low prices (which are now at the level of the price of an average smartphone), and the number that is enough for the descendants of Fiat to still cover a significant share of the "secondary" market. Then there are manufacturers more familiar to European motorists, such as Renault, BMW and Skoda.

In the list of models, the Volkswagen Passat once again takes the lead. Skoda Octavia and Volkswagen Golf are also in high demand.

Among the premium segment cars that were sold in small quantities, but for that reason they are worth attention, 25 Maseratis, 15 Bentleys, 4 Rolls-Royces, 3 Lotuses, 2 Aston Martins and one Lamborghini were bought in September.

The black GAZ M-1 of 1939 was the car of the most respectable age.

Along with a certain decrease in volumes on the "secondary", there is a certain stabilization of average prices and a decrease in supply. This may indicate both the normalization of the market situation after several fluctuations caused by actual and potential changes in legislation, and the possibility of a decrease in sales rates. More details about this are in the price cut from the IDA for September.
