Small commercial vehicles weighing up to 3.5 tons ( LCV according to the international classification) is an important category of transport for small and medium business. Such vehicles are called "beads" and "pies". Due to low purchasing power (read poverty), Ukrainians buy most of the small commercial equipment used. In September, sales of LCV with mileage increased by 21%. We tell you which models were most in demand.
In general, in September 2021 on the secondary market Ukrainians bought 5,677 pieces. passenger commercial vehicles with a total weight of up to 3.5 tons (LCV). Of these, 4,141 units (73%) — domestic resale, 1,536 units. (27%) were brought from abroad.
Compared to the previous month ( August 2021 ), the total market volume increased by 21%. The share of domestic resale in the structure of the secondary market increased from 71% to 73%, the share of imported cars decreased from 29% to 27%.
Compared to August 2020, the total market volume decreased by 5%, and the share of domestic sales increased from 72% to 73%.
The most popular models among domestic resale
The top five of the ranking remained almost unchanged. Mercedes-Benz Sprinter (560 cars sold) remained the leader of the top 10 most popular LCVs among domestic resales. Renault Master rose to one position — from third to second place.
The main changes took place in the second half of the list. Mercedes-Benz Vito dropped from 7th to 10th place. Volkswagen Caddy rose from 9th to 7th place. Renault Traffic dropped out of the rating, and its position № 8 was taken by old Mercedes-Benz T1/T2 vans. Opel Vivaro appeared on the 9th position, and Volkswagen LT dropped out of the list.

The most popular models imported from abroad
The most popular used LCV from abroad in September, as in the previous few months, was the Renault Master (316 imported cars). Volkswagen Crafter rose from 7th to 5th place, and Opel Movano — from 8th to 6th. Opel Vivaro went down one step, from 6th to 7th place, and Ford Transit — from 5th to 8th place. There was only one "replacement" in the ranking: Mercedes-Benz Vito returned to 10th place, displacing Ford Transit Custom.

OVERALL RATING OF LCV USED IN THE SECONDARY MARKET
Domestic resales together with imported used LCVs form the overall rating of used cars in Ukraine. It allows you to track the general interest of Ukrainians in specific models of cars with mileage.
The top three of the top 10 used LCVs remained unchanged. Most Ukrainians were interested in used Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. There were only two changes within the list: Renault Kangoo swapped places with Ford Transit, and Volkswagen Caddy overtook Volkswagen Crafter and took the honorable 10th place of the most popular used LCV September-2021.
