In general, in August 2021 on the secondary market Ukrainians bought 130,439 pieces. passenger cars with mileage.There is a noticeable seasonal decline in sales of used cars, but this is the second most successful month in 2021.
Compared to the previous month ( July 2021 ), the total market volume decreased by 6.9%. The share of used car imports in the structure of the secondary market decreased from 41% to 39%, the share of domestic resale increased from 59% to 61%.
Compared to August 2020, the total market volume decreased by only 0.5%. The structure of the market also changed in favor of imports: its share increased from 31% to 39%.
The most popular models on the secondary market
Compared to the previous month (July 2021), the tastes of Ukrainians remain almost unchanged. Small changes took place in the last three: Skoda Fabia rose one step — from 9th to 8th place; Hyundai Sonata dropped two positions down — from 8th to 10th place. Opel Zafira dropped out of the ranking, while Renault Scenic came in 9th place.

As for used cars from abroad, the preferences of Ukrainians also proved to be stable. Compared to last month, the ranking of the most popular cars with mileage recorded only one change: the Hyundai Sonata dropped out, while the Audi A4 appeared in 10th place. This model is one of the most popular among the so-called "Eurobills", preferential customs clearance of which lasts from June 15, 2021.
