Experts of the Institute of Car Market Research analyzed the statistics of passenger car registrations and identified the top 20 most popular used models that were bought in Ukraine in October.
The most popular brands in the domestic market
The leader among manufacturers of passenger cars that were bought on the domestic market in October most often, Volkswagen remains. Ukrainians concluded 10,000 purchase and sale agreements for cars of this brand, which is 12.2% of the total number.
VAZ (Lada) remains in second place with a share of 6.7% ( 5.5 thousand transactions). In third place is Renault (5.6%, 4.6 thousand ). Fourth place with a share of 5.4% ( 4.5 thousand ) was taken by Skoda. Toyota closes the top five with a share of 5% and 4.1 thousand transactions.

The most popular models in the domestic market
The first place among domestic sales in October was taken by the unchanging leader of the Ukrainian car market Volkswagen Passat (2.9 thousand deals). In second place is Skoda Octavia (2.6 thousand transactions).
The third step was occupied by Volkswagen Golf (2.4 thousand deals), and the fourth place was Daewoo Lanos (2 thousand deals). Rounding out the top five is Renault Megane (1.4 thousand transactions).
The top five models that Ukrainian motorists buy most often do not change much over many months, which indicates a constant demand for these cars.
