Experts of the Institute of Car Market Research analyzed the statistics of car registrations and identified the top 20 most popular used models that were bought in Ukraine in September.
The most popular brands in the domestic market
The leader of passenger car brands that were bought on the domestic market in September Volkswagen remains the biggest. Ukrainians concluded 10,800 purchase and sale agreements for cars of this brand, which is 12.4% of the total number.
VAZ (Lada) remains in second place with a share of 6.3% ( 5.5 thousand transactions).
Renault remains in third place (5.8%, 5 thousand ). Fourth place with a share of 5.4% ( 4.7 thousand ) was taken by Skoda. Toyota closes the top five with a share of 5% and 4.3 thousand deals.

The most popular models in the domestic market
The first place among domestic sales in September was taken by the unchanging leader of the Ukrainian car market Volkswagen Passat (3.1 thousand deals). In second place is Skoda Octavia (2.7 thousand deals).
The third step was occupied by Volkswagen Golf (2.6 thousand transactions), and the fourth place was ZAZ/Daewoo Lanos (2.2 thousand transactions). Rounding out the top five is Renault Megane (1.5 thousand deals).
In general, the first five remained unchanged compared to August 2023 and September 2022, so the preferences of Ukrainians have remained unchanged for more than a year.
