In August, Ukrainians purchased 115,900 used cars. This is 23.2% more than in the same period last year 2022, and 14.4% more than in July 2023.
Most cars with mileage were purchased on the domestic market : 81.4% of the total number of used car sales (94.3 thousand).
The share of imported cars with mileage from abroad amounted to 18.6% (21.6 thousand), which turned out to be another record for 2023: the last time this figure was higher was in December 2022.
