In general, July 2021 in the primary market Ukrainians bought 784 pieces. new LCVauto. Of these, only 125 units (16%) are made in Ukraine. Most (84%, 659 units) of light commercial vehicles were imported from abroad.
Compared to the previous month ( June 2021 ), the total volume of the primary LCV market increased by 51.3%. In July, Ukrainians bought 266 new light commercial vehicles more than last month. The share of sales of new LCVs in the structure of the car market in passenger cars in Ukraineincreased slightly: from 8.3% in June to 9.2% in July.
The absolute majority (87%) of small commercial equipment purchased by Ukrainians in July 2021 — with mileage (5,153 units).
Interestingly, 88.3% of new imported LCVs were purchased by legal entities, only 11.7% by individuals. Private small commercial vehicles manufactured in Ukraine were bought even less by private individuals: only 4% of total sales in July.
The most popular LCV in the primary market
In July 2021, classic vans were in the greatest demand (56% of total sales). Another 18% fell on board vehicles weighing up to 3.5 tons, 15% of buyers chose a pickup.
The first place in the ranking in July 2021 was taken by Peugeot Boxer (120 units). In second place — Renault Master (72 sales), and in third place — a pickup Toyota Hilux.
Only one car made in Ukraine was included in the overall rating — a specialized vehicle based on the Peugeot Boxer. These were purchased in July, 29 pieces.
The most popular models made in Ukraine
All light commercial vehicles manufactured in Ukraine are products of domestic car assembly companies engaged in the manufacture of cars based on imported car kits and chassis. The leader of the sphere can be considered the HDC brand — in July, Ukrainians bought 22 such cars. Under this brand LLC "Universal Service Baltic" by SKD method produces cars based on Russian Gazelles. In second place — the products of LLC "Vidi Unicommerce" under the brand "VD". In July, the company released 19 specialized cars based on the Citroen Berlingo.
The most popular LCV made in Ukraine was the Peugeot Boxer. In July, Ukrainians bought 29 specialized cars made on their platform. In second place — "Gazelle" GAZ 2310 (23 pcs.), In third place — specialized cars based on Citroen Berlingo (19 pcs.).
